Demented press release of the day

This just in. Gosh, sometimes I wish I lived in their fantasy world…

Plenty to be Thankful for… if you’re Big Labor

Doug,

Who has more for which to be thankful this year, small businesses or Big Labor? The failure of Big Labor to move it’s job-killing Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act through Congress despite naming it a top agenda item is certainly on businesses’ list.

Still, small businesses and workers are struggling to make ends meet as labor bosses continue to work to force unionization on workers to pocket union dues and spend frivolously on political campaigns that will ensure their bottom line.

So, Big Labor is thankful for things like Craig Becker’s appointment to the National Labor Relations Board and the strings they can pull at the National Mediation Board, all while leaving their workers’ pensions grossly underfunded.

Would you like to speak with Katie Gage or another representative of the Workforce Fairness Institute about what this year has meant for Big Labor and what these union bosses are thankful for this year?

Thanks,

Mike

  1. It is getting so garbled. Up is down, down is up, analysis is shtick. I just get exhausted when I read junk like this. You can’t even parody this junk.

  2. Sociopaths, whether individuals or institutions, always present themselves as aggrieved victims, and when you act to defend yourself against their attacks, you’re the bad faith aggressor. It’s all sadly predictable.

  3. How can I get access to this alternate dimension Ms. Gage resides in?

  4. It’s like the old joke about the two Jewish men in Germany, the one reading the Jewish paper turns to the one reading Nazi paper, ‘how can you read that?” To which he replies ‘sure, I can read the the Jewish paper and hear about how we’re losing our jobs, can’t go to the movies or the beach, etc., or I can read this one about how we own everything and have never been richer.”

By the way, sorry to hear about the radio show. I’ve been listening to the podcast – is there a way to donate on itunes or directly to the podcast? Thanks for your great work.

  5. Yes, Laura – that’s why we watch Fox!

I actually feel some sense of relief, still doing the show but free of the madhouse that is WBAI. Donations welcome – there’s a donate button on the front page of this “blog.”

  6. Great – will do!

  7. Their world is collapsing though, and their inadequacy is amusing to watch if one stands clear of the temper tantrum.

Witness this WSJ article from the weekend: ‘China’s ‘State Capitalism’ Sparks a Global Backlash’

Basically a long screed about how China is ‘cheating’ and it all isn’t fair to the kind hearted American ruling class. You know, just like the Viet Cong was ‘cheating’.

  8. “Sociopaths, whether individuals or institutions, always present themselves as aggrieved victims, and when you act to defend yourself against their attacks, you’re the bad faith aggressor. ”

    yup.
i remember leading upto the iraq invasion a poster on a site i no longer visit claimed that france was engineering a “power grab” by not going along with the US at the UN.
