Pacifica hires anti-union law firm

Pacifica laid off the Morning Show staff at KPFA allegedly because of a budget crisis—and they hire an expensive corporate law firm to deal with the consequences. How community broadcasting of them!

This is the everyday dilemma for “progressives” and leftists and radicals and even liberals during the austerity phase of the ongoing neoliberal consolidation of power – what is “solidarity” when basic principles are in such outright violation? Sorry about the “Morning Show,” other Pacifica worthies say, good luck with the NLRB case- but hey, we got a show to do. Call us if you need a shoulder…
    No one should work at or voluntarily associate with a place that hires a strike-breaking law firm – but then, no one should work or associate with any institution that is in basic violation of established principles such as rationality and integrity.
